- Toothpaste, many drugstores offer this item for free once a month. They do this per savings card so you can sometimes get two or three for Free or for a profit if you have a coupon!
- Shampoo, again many drugstores offer this item for free as well as there are many coupons that you can double or triple.
- Baby Formula, use formula checks from the manufactures combined with deals, you can save up to 50% just by watching the ads.
- Meat, find a price point that works for your family, for us if chicken breast is below $1.99lb I will buy as much as I can. One time it was on sale for .99 cents (I bought 40lbs!)
- OTC Meds, another fun item drugstore like to give away. We will never run out of Tylenol or Aspirin.
- New Products, these always come with great coupons that you can match with bogo sales or discounted to see if the product will sell. Cvs recently had the bayer quick release aspirin for free and I had a $1.00 off coupon.
- Snacks, I have found many coupons for .75 cents that I can triple on triple coupon day. They are always for fun stuff like fruit snacks and granola bars. Perfect for brown bagging.
- Diapers, Never ever pay full price for something that can be thrown away in minutes. I have found the cheapest brand that works in my area and it is my fall back. I coupon the rest and when I find a good deal I buy as much as I can. When he was a newborn I couldn’t do this because he was growing so fast. Now he is staying put for a little bit so I can stock up.
- Cleaning Supplies, All I can say is Triple Coupons. I can start a cleaning business with the stockpile I’ve created.
- Deodorant, This past weekend I got BrokeDad 5 sticks of his favorite deodorant for free! Another item that drugstores like to give away for free.
