How to get baby formula for free!

by Robin on December 10, 2008 in Tips

Similac was on sale this past week at CVS so I decided to take advantage. Here is the breakdown of what I did.

First Canister: 1 5.00 formula check, 1 5.00 of $15 or more cvs coupon, 1 Similac Coupon for 1.00, and 1 Bonus Buck for $1.59.

It was fun to watch the cash register as all of this was happening. Total Price was $9.40.

Second Canister : 1 5.00 formula check, 1 5.00 of $15 or more cvs coupon, 1 Similac Coupon for 1.00, 1 Bonus Buck for $1.59, and finally 1 Bonus Buck for $3.00.

Total Price was $6.40.

2 canisters of formula full price would cost me $49.98. After Coupons I paid 15.80. But really since I had a CVS gift card for transferring my prescription I ended up paying Nothing!!!

Do you have to transfer a prescription to take advantage of CVS gift cards? What if I don’t have any medicine will they still give me a gift card so I can save like you?

Most of the time yes. There should be a sign in the store or in the sunday paper that will show you the current promotion for prescription transfers. If you dont have a prescription…you are very lucky!

I don’t have any prescriptions… Do you think they would give me the gift card if I told them that I will only buy Tylenol from them from now on? (that does not include Kids tylenol but do you think I would need to include that to get the giftcard???)
