Do It Yourself Baby Wipes

Baby Wipes

We have come to refer to Ethan’s diaper changes in the form of how many wipes. I will come from his room to announce things like that was a 2 wiper up to a 5 wiper. Thank God we have never gotten above a 5 wiper!!! I started to question how much these wipes were costing us especially on a daily basis. While reading the book Miserly Moms by Jonni McCoy I found a “recipe” for baby wipes.

I went to the Kleenex viva web site and found a coupon for the paper towels and went to the Johnson’s web site for a coupon for the baby oil. However, when I went to the store I found that the store brand was cheaper than Johnson’s. Apparently with the ingredients the homemade wipes are around 40 cents per container. In the store even buying the cheapest brand they are around 1.97-2.50 per container.

With the amount of 5 wipers that we’ve been having lately we are really going to making a lot of these wipes.
