Our baby turned 1 last week. It’s awesome that we actually got to this point.
I think that children’s birthday’s are more of a celebration for the adults. We have kept him alive and healthy. Ethan had a blast eating his cake. Somebody taught him how to put his cake filled hands in his hair. That was a fun bath.
Our friend Josh referred to him as a Krispy Kreme Doughnut. He had lots of fun opening his presents.
How we saved money throwing him the party was we bought many of the items in the course of a month or so. Watching for deals on hamburgers and hot dogs. We did splurge and buy corona, but it was on sale because the previous week was Cinco de Mayo so they were $9.99 for a 12 pk.
All in all it was a good day and we had a blast celebrating our little man’s first!
