50 Nifty Tricks for Big DIY Savings

I found this article while playing on the Internet today.

It has some great ideas that you can do yourself and work on saving your household budget.

The nice thing with many of these ideas is you can do one or two a weekend.

I thinking the savings will add up and many will not cost you anything to do.

Two things we have already done are turning down the temperature on our water heater and paying our property taxes our selves.

We noticed a $10 difference in our gas bill this month after turning down the Temp!

By putting the money into ING we gained $10.20 in interest. It doesn’t seem a lot but it was great to know that the money was there and available when it came time to get that pink envelope.

If you have any other tips that might be helpful let us know so we can pass on the savings.
